I have been talking to my peers both on the LMS and in person about the peer review and some people are saying that honesty is the best policy, I still find it quite hard.  Other people that I have spoken to are saying that they are having problems reviewing too.  For me I think the problem is that it is a peer and not a student.  Although I understand that we have to learn how to assess others work, I am struggling with this.  I spoke with one lady today and she was saying that her website was review rather nasty, and it was gut wrenching when she read the review.  That is what I dont like about doing this.  Its such a person thing to do, yet I have to grade them.  Understandably thought if her work isnt up to a certain level, then she shouldnt be getting the same grades as someone who is putting in massive amounts of effort. Maybe that is the lesson I have to learn, if someone isnt willing to put the effort in for a high distinction, then they shouldnt expect a mark of a high distinction???
