Week 4
This week I have been doing it a bit of personal researching to see if and what technologies I can find that other countries are using and developing. I have come accross two really interesting websites, that I think people interested in this topic would like to read. The websites I found were: Office of Educational Technology (America) MIT-CETI(China) although I would have loved to find more websites the search engine kept showing me technology courses and degrees at University/TAFE (or the equivalent to that country).
Im feeling quite frusturated at this because Im quite interested to see what new technologies the scientists are working on and also what other countries are using. My personal opinion is that if you look at what other countires are using to teach their students we might learn somthing that we had not thought of doing before, and it might relate better to our students. I would like to 'broaden my horizons' in the teaching methods I use when I graduate and not stick to the stock-standard methods. Although these methods are tried and true, I would like to use a global approach to how I teach, that is a very interactive, broad range in teaching methods.
