The Nutty Nutritionists
Assignment 3 was our biggest assignment in this unit - EDN113. This assignment was worth 35% of our unit mark - 20% for the group project and 15% for the final presentation of the webpage. For this assignment we formed groups, in my group there were 5 members; Jodie Burrage, Jo Busling, Rae Harvey, Chris Pickering and myself. The topic we choose was Nutirition and our group name was "The Nutty Nutrtionists".
The Nutty Nutritionists had decided as a group to have weekly meetings to discuss how we were going, any difficulties etc. We had also copied Jennis' Google Doc and used it as a template for online communtication and as a guide to what all members were doing. After each meeting a short description of what had been discussed had been put on the document. All members of the group had editing access to this.

We discussed as a group what our assignment goals were - We aimed to get a High Distinction for the assignment and to do this we were constantly refering back to the marking rubric.
To decide what topic we were going to use for this assignment, we refered to our Researcher (Assignment 2). As two members of thegroup had based this on Nutrition, we decided to go with this topic. Both Rae and myself had some fantastic information (webpages, podcasts, pdf) that we shared with the group.
Each members roles in the assignment was discussed at the first meeting. As the weeks progressed our roles altered slightly to meet the changing requirements.

Our finished assignment was posted on our unit Wiki. The Nutty Nutritionists had four pages - home page, authentic task, teacher resource and lesson overview.
